Profile

Swank One, an artist and designer based in Los Angeles, is renowned for his ability to push the technical boundaries of aerosol spray can painting, creating both original and highly articulated, detailed works. Beyond his artistic prowess, Swank also manufactures and distributes his own line of aerosol painting tools and accessories. Born to Thai parents in the East Hollywood area, he was raised in a neighborhood along the concrete banks of the LA River. As a latchkey child of the 90s, his upbringing was shaped by skateboarding, graffiti tagging, afternoon cartoons, and local convenience store cuisine. Swank later pursued his interest in an art career, earning a BFA from ACCD (2000).
